Bridge House is a deceptively large rambling old early Victorian House. Originally built as a bank and bank manager's house, Bridge House has been transformed many times over the years. At various times, parts of the building have been used a bank, saddlers, hardware store. The present owners purchased the property in 2000 and purchased the adjoining shop a year later. A major program of works in 2001 saw a major transformation of the property, adding the facilities necessary to bring the property into the 21st century. All guest rooms (1 double and 2 twin bedded) are ensuite with mains pressure showers. The breakfast room is available for guest use in the evenings and contains a range of tourist literature, board games, a dedicated PC with CD burning capabilities and readers for most digital camera memory formats. Internet access is available free of charge using either a dedicated guest PC, or by WIFI access to the network. Tea and coffee making facilities are available for guest use free of charge. The property is entirely non-smoking. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate your pets. |
