Further afield, the courses at Gleneagles (20 minutes) or St Andrews (50 minutes) offer a chance to have that once in a lifetime experience. Major competitions held at Gleneagles or St. Andrews are thus within easy 'commuting' distance. There are said to be 30 golf courses within 30 minutes of Dollar.
